New Delhi: As expected, the Indian team puts a smile on their fan’s face. India started its new season with the win. Team India beats South Africa by 203 runs in the first test match played at Vizag. In the second inning, Mohammad Shami became the hero. He sent five batsmen to the pavilion. He bowled 10.5 overs 5 wickets 2 maidens and leaked just 35 runs. This the fifth time he took 5 wickets in an inning. South Africa bowled out in just 191 runs chasing the target of 395 runs on the fifth day. With this win, India took the lead of 1-0 in three test match series.
In this match, India’s tension for the opening pair come to the end. Both the openers Rohit Sharma and Mayank Agarwal scored a big hundred. Mayank converted his first ton into big 215 runs, where Rohit Sharma showed his hitman class, scoring a century in both innings. Rohit Sharma was declared as Man Of The Match. He scored 176 runs in the first inning and 127 runs in second. He becomes the second Indian opener to score the century in both the innings after Sunil Gavaskar.
In the press conference, Rohit Sharma praised Mohammad Shami’s bowling. He said, he is master of reverse swing and has done the same in the past. He is playing for a long time. We debuted with each other in 2013 in the Kolkata Test and the Vizag surface was similar to that one.
